I’ll be back here and there to pepper your SL reading experience with a few of my favorite items ^^ These posts will be short and sweet so if you have any further questions about products, locations, windlights, or anything else, please just let me know here in a comment or in world. I’m always willing to help you find or accomplish what you need : )
I’m pretty swamped with RL stuff lately but I’ve been itching to create some SL photos. I can’t promise the longest blog entries, but I hope what I do post helps all of you find some fun stuff for your avatars ^^
I’ve been on SL now for 2 years. In that time, I’ve accumulated quite a large wardrobe, especially since my little store has made enough money to afford me the chance to reinvest many lindens back into the SL economy. I purchase quite a bit. When I started this blog, I really wanted to help people find unique items and locations within SL so that they could enjoy the fashion and the scenes just as much as myself. I never expected a blog to be so time consuming and difficult to keep up with, however. It’s even more so because I like to go all out with my image sets because this really is a passion of mine.
I want to share more though. I want to show you all even more things that make our community and world wonderful and unique. I can’t promise I’ll post all the time, but I want to try a little more. Real life work can be consuming but, after all, I’ve been around two years. It would be a shame to give up now. I feel like there’s so much more I want to discover and experience within SL. There are so many artists whose creations I’d like to experience.
Style Oven isn’t going anywhere but the image collections may get a little smaller. Maybe I’ll start posting 1-3 images per post. That way I can maybe share a little bit more. That way I can experience a little bit more ^^
I remember a lot of “vs.” movies from when I was a kid. My dad and I were both fans of Godzilla and I can think back to a time when I’d fall asleep on the couch listening to the distinct (and sometimes a bit scary) sounds of Monster Zero. That love for titanic battles has stuck with me ever since.
This set was a pretty big one. I usually try to stick to smaller setups since I often build in public places but this particular theme demanded something much more involved. For one, the Goliath I’m facing is the gigantic and insanely awesome Earth Elemental Gaia created by BunnyStar. It’s usually an attachment your character can ride but in this case I sunk him deep into the soil and let him go against my dual blades (also created by BunnyStar).
The base of the outfit I’m wearing is by Epic. I picked it up during the last round of The Boobies Show and it came with a rather nice applicator for Lolas! Tangos (not pictured). If you haven’t tried the Tangos, by the way, I really recommend them. They have a fantastic shape and a lot of designers have been creating cute outfits for them. The only real issue now is finding a large collection of usable hair. Big boobs can mean big problems
I’m still using my mesh head by LOGO. Overall, I’m pretty happy with it even though I’m still having issues with it when I up all of my graphics. The nose looks so much smoother and delicate when I don’t have atmospheric shaders and shadows turned on. The mouth is just perfection though and makes the tweaking I have to do with windlight settings worth it. Gone are the days when we had tattoo layer teeth painted across our lips. Turn your avatar to the side and her lips can now have a perfect part. The details are so lovely!
Now that we’re in 2013 I like to dream about what this year might bring to SL. Maybe an all mesh body we can use our own head on? Maybe a mesh derriere attachment? Doesn’t hurt to hope! XD
I’ve known a lot of people in my lifetime but I’d have to say that my best friend in the entire world is Mhyja Questi. Second Life, while being a really fun experience, wouldn’t be even half as fun if it weren’t for Mhyja being by my side.
When you find someone whom you can share anything with, it’s an amazing feeling. No matter what, Mhyja has always been by my side and I’ll always be loyal to her. Together we’ve explored real life and Second Life, gotten into a bit of trouble here and there, and we’ve built a bond that won’t easily be broken.
Mhyja is an amazing person, friend, and artist. If you like fantasy accessories, fantastic jewelry, and super-creative fashion, visit her store in Second Life. You can find BunnyStar in world or on the marketplace ^^
